Report on Periodic Awareness Lectures on Proper Methods of Dealing
with Medical Waste

The Office of Community Service and Environment conducted an informative lecture on Thursday, September 28, 2023, for students and staff of the university on the proper methods of dealing with medical waste in collaboration with the Supervision Unit for Lecture Halls and Medical Laboratories.
During the session, attendees were trained on a variety of
necessary skills for disposing of medical waste, including:

Technical
training on the safe disposal of medical waste.

Sorting
waste at its source according to its level of danger and infectious factors.
- Continuous monitoring of the steps involved in separating, transporting, and treating medical waste.
The lecture was attended by a portion of the students, faculty
members, as well as several administrative unit officials at the university.
