The Scientific Awareness Day on Seasonal Influenza🦠
In an effort to raise awareness about its risks and promote community health, the Scientific Awareness Day on Seasonal Influenza was organized on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the premises of the International Maaref University in collaboration with the National Center for Disease Control, organized by the Health Promotion and Protection Programs Administration.
During the Scientific Awareness Day, speeches were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the university and a representative from the National Center for Disease Control. This was followed by an explanation of important information about seasonal influenza, influenza virus pandemics, and surveillance programs. The day also included vaccination by the vaccination team from the National Center for a number of employees and students of the International Maaref University.
